- Supplied and installed a five lite casement unit in vertical grain western red cedar. This unit was supplied to site primed Glazed with 6.76mm Acoustic glass and obscure laminated coloured glass installed with silicone and Install linseed oil putty. Unit supplied with draft seals on operable windows. Installed Flyscreens and truth hardware.

The entire window frame and sashes were crafted from vertical grain Western Red Cedar, selected for its exceptional stability, natural resistance to decay, lightweight strength, and beautiful, consistent grain pattern. Before delivery to site, the cedar unit was fully primed, providing a stable, prepared surface ready for final finishing and ensuring the timber is protected from the moment it arrives. This careful preparation helps extend service life and ensures a superior base for paint or stain.
Acoustic & Obscure Laminated Coloured Glass
To address both comfort and design goals, the window was glazed with two carefully specified glass types:
- 6.76mm Acoustic Glass: A laminated acoustic-grade glass chosen to reduce external noise transfer and create a quieter, more comfortable indoor environment. Its layered construction dampens sound waves, particularly valuable in suburban areas where street or neighbourhood noise is a consideration.
